7/6/22 - I'm starting to get the feel for the "Bush." Insert joke here. There are nice animals and mean animals. Most predators appear nice to humans because they are not afraid. Most hunted animals seem nice because they are delicate and a delicacy and graceful run from us. And there are some in the middle.
| Nice animal. |
The warthogs fall in the middle. They call it running bacon, member of the pig family. They are like fullbacks in football.
| Would you like a side of bacon with you eggs? |
It doesn't feel to ever get old driving in the bush. Insert joke here. This morning we ran into a herd of elephants. They were on their daily route.
| Anyone up for a cocktail? |
12 gin n' tonics please
| Fuck. I'm trunk. |
These are all Mom's with their kids. Dad's in most species travel alone and mark their territories. And then come back to mate during mating season. Eat. Shit. Mate. Repeat. We ran into a pride of lions. I have no idea why every group of animals is named something different. They seem like a happy family and were not afraid of us at all.
We are family.
 Mom. Stop!
You kids hungry?
| Quiet. I'm searching for bacon |
The lions are amazing. Goodman wants us to see a male lion. They are much harder to find in the bush. Joke: Seems like they'd be easy to find?
For the afternoon session. Goodman taught us all about these. Can you guess what they are?
Wrong. Termites. I know more than enough about termites. Blog Facts: They live 5+ years. There are multiple Kings and Queens. Workers work and also feed other higher ranked 'mites. They build their royal chambers through spit, shit, and sand. The 3 S's. Rock solid. Millions and millions helped make this. Our house has no chance. The bush has a lot of phallic looking nests.
Goodman is smart. He then taught us about different types of animal shit.
| Maybe not that smart |
He even had a map of the where all animals shit.

My favorite part of the day is later in the evening when the sun starts setting and animals are looking to mate.
| Some are lonely and unlucky. |
| And some get lucky |
| Very, very lucky |
On our way home. At night. Josh spotted a male lion, looking to eat. Goodman uses a red light, to not hurt the lion's eyes.
| I hope he can see in the dark to eat. |
We ended with another amazing day and greeted by MJ for dinner.
| I can eat in the dark or light. |
